HRIS Integration with Frankli

How to sync my HRIS System with Frankli

You can now select from up to 50 HRIS systems to sync with Frankli which allows you to manage your users in current HRIS and have those changes reflected in Frankli. Only one HRIS system can be synced at any one time.

While this integration is enabled, your people details are controlled from the HRIS instead of Frankli, bar a few Frankli-specific settings like their access level.

What data is synced with Frankli?

  • First name (required)

  • Last name (required)

  • Email Address (required)

  • Manager

  • Start Date

  • Department

  • Position

  • Office Location

  • Leaving Date

If any of the required fields above are empty for any user, then Frankli may not be able to sync with your HRIS system.

If any of the following do not exist in Frankli then they will be created when syncing a user:

  • Department

  • Position

  • Office Location

Set up

In Frankli, navigate to Admin/Dashboard/Integrations as seen in the image below.

For any HRIS integration other than PeopleHR, Sage HR, Trinet & AzureAD, please select the HRIS Integrations option in the image below.

For PeopleHR, Sage HR, Trinet & AzureAD integration please contact a member of the team via the Chat option in the bottom right-hand corner of your Frankli account.

Please then follow the step-by-step process below. In this example, we are going to connect to Humaans HRIS.

You can scroll to find your HRIS or type the name in the search bar.

Once you have found the HRIS you wish to connect to simply click on the icon.

Next, you will need to get your API key for your HRIS, follow the instructions on the screen to locate & input the key in the box provided.

You will then see the list of data that will be collected, please note although information like Time off, Bank Information etc is available we do not collect this type of information. You will see on the next screen the exact data that will be gathered via the integration.

Step 4

Select "skip for later" the data not synced isn't required & therefore you do not need to "retry access". On the next screen click "continue.

Step 5

Finally, you will be presented "Connected" message. It's important that you click "Continue" to finalise the integration and proceed to the next screen & select "Finish".

Step 6

Once completed you will be brought back to the Frankli integration page.

It can take a few minutes & up to an hour in some cases for the integration to fully sync. You will receive a notification once this has been completed & will also see your people in the "Provisioned Users" table below.

With some integrations, multiple syncs will have to run before all of your people are available in Frankli.

The timing of re-syncs via your selected integrations depends on the provider, some will sync every hour & some will sync every 24 hours, this is something out of our control.

When any new changes are made as a result of a sync via Merge, the person who set up the integration will be notified via email.
