Start by heading to “Connect” from the sidebar, then selecting “Coaching” and then “Manage Coaching Requests” from the menu to view your Connect manager dashboard.

From this dashboard, you can view and action all coach applications/coaching requests that come from your team. You can swap between your team’s coach applications and their coaching requests using the tab at the top of the dashboard.

Actioning Coaching Requests

When you receive a coaching request, you can view it by first clicking the “Coaching Requests” tab and then clicking the “eye” icon under “actions” for that request.

This will bring you to the coaching request page where you can review and action it using the buttons labelled “Approve” and “Decline” at the bottom of the form.

Approving a coaching request will progress the coaching request to the next stage, where it will be sent to the coach for final approval.

Declining a coaching request will send it back to the coachee, where they can make adjustments to the form based on your comments before resubmitting.

Actioning Coach Applications

Actioning Coach Applications is very similar to actioning Coaching Requests. When you receive a coach application, you can view it by first clicking the “Coach Applications” tab and then clicking the “eye” icon under “actions” for that application.

This will bring you to the coaching request page where you can review and action it using the buttons labelled “Approve” and “Decline” at the bottom of the form.

Approving a coach application will register the coach in the system, allowing them to appear in searches for the skills they coach in.

Declining a coach application will send it back to the coach, where they can make adjustments to the form based on your comments before resubmitting.

Coach Application Amendments

An approved coach has the ability to add or subtract skills from their coach application. When they make such a change, they need their manager to approve it (Managers are notified via email and in Frankli when such a change is made). An amended coach application shows the skills the coach currently coaches, and the skills they are looking to add or remove.

Approving an amendment will allow the coach to appear in searches for the new skills that they have added.

Declining an amendment does not add the coach’s new skills to their application, and instead informs them that their amendment was declined.
