Start by heading to “Connect” from the sidebar, then selecting “Mentoring” and then “Mentor” from the menu.

You will be shown the following prompt letting you know that you will need to opt-in to mentoring to become a mentor. Click “Get started” to opt-in to mentoring.

After opting in, you will be taken to the mentor dashboard. On the mentor dashboard, you can see what skills you will show up for when other people search for skills. These skills come directly from your professional interests on your profile, so if there are any more you wish to add you may do so via Edit Profile → Professional Interests.
