To create a survey you must have the admin or manager role. 

Start by clicking on 'Surveys' in the sidebar and click 'Create' as shown below.

You will be able to create a bespoke Survey specific to your business or select from a number of pre-built survey templates. 

Note: Frankli will deliver more out of the box surveys for customers as we start to expand our user base.

Build a Survey from scratch

You can build a modern survey in Frankli in 6 easy steps.

1. Select 'Build a Survey From Scratch'

To create a a bespoke survey click 'Build Survey from scratch'

2. Give your survey a title

Firstly, give your survey a meaningful name. The survey title is limited to a minimum of six characters. Give your survey a title and select 'Next'.

3. Design your survey questions

There are 11 categories in which you can choose questions from with each category containing a number of predefined questions. All Frankli questionnaires have been designed in conjunction with rigorous psychometric research and done to the Likert Scale. You can also use the available search box to locate specific questions in the available bank of questions.

Once you’ve selected your questions and you’re happy with the layout of your questionnaire select 'Next'.

4. Define your audience

Select who you want the survey to be sent to. You can order by name, department, office location, manager or start date. You can also search survey recipients by name.

Once you're happy with your survey audience, select 'Next'. Alternatively select 'Previous' to bring you back to the question bank.

Note:
You must select at least 3 people to receive your survey - otherwise you cannot send it. This is to ensure anonymity in survey responses. 

5. Preview your Survey

You can preview how the survey will display before its sent out to your chosen recipients. If required you can simply select 'Previous' to go back to add or edit questions.

Once you’re happy with how it looks, select 'Next'.

6. Survey Message

Once you’re happy with all of the survey content, determine what message you would like to include, how long the survey will be valid for and click 'Publish Survey'.

The survey will now be sent to all selected recipients. Each recipient will get an email and a notification directly within Frankli.

What Next?

Sit back and watch survey responses come arrive in real-time. Navigate to 'Surveys > View' to view these. Click the eye symbol next to the relevant survey to view responses.
Note: You can only view survey responses once at least three people have given their responses.

Pre-built Survey Templates

You can select a pre built survey as delivered by Frankli - example Wellbeing Survey or Onboarding Survey. Once you select a pre built survey you can still edit the survey name and add or delete questions.

1. Select Pre-built Survey: 

To use a pre-built survey such as the Wellbeing or Onboarding Survey select the survey in 'Create Survey.'

2. Give your Survey a Title

Once you've sent the survey, you can see who it was sent to by clicking 'Surveys' > 'View'.

Click the eye symbol next to the relevant survey to see responses.
Note: You can only view survey responses once at least three people have given their responses.
